Get Out-Doors and Dirty enjoying two of Irelands top activities and one night's stay at Prospect Bay, a luxury AA 4-star Bed and Breakfast beside scenic Brackley Lake located less than one minutes' walk to ODD.
Ballyconnell is the gateway to the beautiful mountain scenery of the Cuilcagh Mountains and Marble Arch Global Geopark. Prospect Bay is located a short drive away beside Brackley Lake with lake and mountain views in all directions. If you choose to arrive the evening before, your activities will commence after a delicious breakfast the following morning.
Alternatively you can opt to stay the night following your mornings activities, and enjoy the excellent choice of local restaurants and lively evening entertainment.
Hovercrafting: Piloting a hovercraft is genuinely like nothing else you've ever experienced! Imagine sliding on ice in a craft which is part jet ski and part plane with no brakes and you're getting there. And you will be piloting the craft with no instructor on board!
ODD are the only operators of Flying Fish Formula 25 Solo Hovercrafts across a lake and land racing course in Ireland. What makes our experience so different is the crossing from land to water without stopping or slowing down! Thrill seekers, this is definitely for you!
After your hovercraft lesson, you will take the controls as pilot, flying solo for 5 practice laps to master cornering and become confident in controlling the craft. This is followed by a second solo session of 5 laps racing against the clock!
Rage Buggies: Experience the thrill of adrenaline generating hairpins, sweepers and chicanes in a 620cc Rage Extreme Buggy for an incredible Rallying Experience! The wetter the better is our motto to ensure a drifting experience that's hard to beat and we make sue there are always wetted hairpins for plenty of sliding action! Once behind the wheel you'll really enjoy the thrill of adrenaline-generating hairpins, sweepers, chicanes and jumps. Hear the commands, watch the flag, then GO for it with a 15 Lap Rallysprint!
Clay Pigeon Shooting: Our friendly and experienced instructors are on hand to teach, support and offer ongoing advice in a relaxed and informal manner. Learn how to load and mount your gun, anticipate the clays path and turn it to dust while taking part in a 25 Shot Clay Pigeon Shoot. All equipment is supplied on the day!
