Hovercraft Racing at ODD is a unique experience and not available anywhere else in Ireland!
Part plane, part jet-ski, with no brakes, piloting our Formula 25 craft at Ireland’s only solo hovercrafting venue is like trying to drive on ice!
You’ll fly solo around our thrilling unique lake and land course. Ignore the warning voices in your head as you make your transition from grass to open water and back!
Swallow hard, take a deep breath, then go for it at full throttle – if you dare! An extreme flying experience strictly aged 16+ and not for the faint hearted!
All competitors are supplied with all the equiptment required-buoyancy aid, helmet, racing suit etc.
Our Marshals will provide safety briefing and tuition then the racing begins!
All competitors will have 15 laps, and fastest lap times go through to the finals and a bottle of bubbly is awarded to the overall winner on the day!
Don't imagine it's easy - it's a real challenge, but once you've tried it you'll want more!
