TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our standard terms and conditions apply in full to all bookings. You will be asked to confirm verbally when booking that you have read and agree to our terms and conditions which are displayed on our website or can be requested by email prior to booking. If you have not been able to access them prior to booking they will be sent to you with your booking confirmation, and we will allow 5 days grace in which to receive same and cancel with deposit refunded if you do not accept them in full. We may from time to time accept a booking subject to additional or substituted terms, in which case you will be advised of these as part of your quotation and given them in writing as part of your booking confirmation.

Booking terms

Group Size
At the time of booking you will be asked to confirm the number of persons you wish to book for. Minimum group size may apply. Reduced numbers on arrival from that booked may affect the total price per person and/or result in loss of discount or other benefit if any such discount and/or benefit was offered based on minimum numbers. In most instances it will be possible to increase your numbers at short notice. However with bookings of 10 people or less, we may add another group of 10 or less to take part in the same activities.
Age and Weight restrictions - Please be aware age and weight restrictions apply.  Refer to General Information section

Deposits
All bookings must be secured by payment of a deposit, calculated by group size, normally payable by credit or debit card. Cash or bankers draft deposits are also accepted if a credit card number is provided as security for payment against late cancellation. Deposits are fully refundable for cancellations with 28 days or more notice. Where a deposit payment is non refundable you will be advised verbally and your agreement sought before any payment is taken.
For large bookings we may accept deposit payments in several  instalments, each payment being  automatically deducted from the same card  on  a pre-agreed date. In such instances, failure to pay the remaining deposit on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund. Once  the full deposit has been received the booking will be confirmed.
If we agree to accept more than one card for payment of a group deposit an admin fee of €10.00 per additional card is payable.

Payment methods
We are happy to accept the balance by credit or debit card, bankers draft, postal order or cash.  Please note we do not accept personal cheques or offer credit facilities
In the following instances you may be asked to pay in full on booking:

  • Bookings made 14 days or less before arrival
  • Bookings where  minimum group size applies
  • Bookings which include accommodation

Changes to your booking – by you
We will accept one change of date, time, or activity if

  • We have 28 days notice or
  • It is not already booked or
  • It did not include payment for accommodation. Activity breaks including accommodation are non transferable

We reserve the right to apply a €25.00 administration fee per person in some instances

Changes to your booking  - by us
For safety reasons we reserve the right to change the format of an activity without notice, which may differ from a description or image. On occasion we may not be able to provide the activity, and in such  instance will offer alternative activities.
If we have to offer an alternative activity to  25 lap Rage Rally, Hovercraft Grand Prix or live ammo clay pigeon shooting we will refund your deposit in full or offer you an alternative date if a replacement activity does not suit. We reserve the right to change all other activities without notice or refund for another of equal or higher value when necessary. Special offers may have an alternative activity listed as a condition of the offer.

Cancellation Policy:
28 days notice or more
full refund of deposit will be made, or the relevant portion offset against a final balance if group size is reduced, up to a maximum 20% reduction in group size, or where group size falls below any minimum shown on booking confirmation.

Less than 28 days notice
deposits will not be refunded for cancellation or offset against reduced numbers. Requests for an alternative date if available will incur a €25 per person admin charge.

Up to 7 days notice
A charge of 50% of any balance due will be applied if the entire booking is cancelled
Notice of reduced group size must be received by us no later than 7 days before the event, otherwise the balance due will be based on the group size booked for. The balance will not be adjusted to lower numbers on the day without a minimum seven days notice. Reduced numbers may also affect the terms offered. Please refer to first paragraph above regarding Group Size

No Show
Any outstanding balance will be charged in full, based on original group size, or final numbers as notified to us no less than 7 days before event date.

Cancellation by us
If for circumstances beyond our control we have to cancel your event you will be notified as early as possible and offered a full refund or an alternative date. However we regret we’re not able to reimburse travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by you for an experience that is cancelled for any reason.

Late Arrival
Please arrive 30 minutes before your start time. Start time is the time agreed at booking, not the time your party arrives. The later your group, the shorter your time slot will be. Ensure you have allowed adequate travelling time, including the ten minute drive from Ballyconnell to the Gamespark itself.
For health and safety reasons, individuals arriving  late may not be able to join an activity if they have missed the safety briefing or tuition has commenced. Your balance remains due in full regardless of time of arrival. Voucher holders arriving late or failing to arrive will be deemed to have forfeited the entitlements of said voucher.

Dangerous Behaviour and/or Damage
ODD reserve the right to cancel your party’s activity  or remove individuals without refund if inappropriate, dangerous, malicious, persistent or deliberate misbehaviour occurs within the group. The cost of repair for any damage caused to property or equipment, either deliberately, or as a direct consequence of misbehaviour will be charged to the credit card of the person who made the booking. Organisers should therefore make all members of their party aware of this clause before arrival.

Exceptional Circumstances
Discretionary exceptions to the above terms and conditions may be made in exceptional circumstances; evidence of such circumstances may be requested.
